Nowadays, international education in the mainland of China is in the ascendant with a variety of international schools springing up. How to actively introspect in the context of international education and upgrade the teaching and learning of Chinese to a higher level is now a focus of attention.

To us as a UWC school the beauty is not just for foreigners trying to learn something Chinese, it is the unity of all cultures and the fact that they work together and respect each other which is the main point of our mission.

After listening to his speech, students felt very inspired and had a stronger sense of responsibility.

Prof. Zhu felt that UWC students are really inquisitive and are impressed by the interest shown in economics and the various questions they asked which demonstrate the diverse perspectives of the students due to their different backgrounds.

On September 27th, UWC Changshu China had the great honor to host the Chinese Guqin Masters Campus Tour 2017.

Professor ‘t Hooft encouraged UWC students not to fear making mistakes or even failing in something that’s challenging. He said that through failures, success can be achieved if one can relentlessly and persistently pursue his or her goals.

UWC Day, which coincides with UN World Peace Day, is celebrated by 17 UWC schools and colleges throughout the world on the 21st of September annually.

On 5th September 2017, over 560 students and more than 100 faculty, staff as well as guests of honour from almost 100 countries

On May 29th and 30th, eight students from UWC Changshu China participated in the final round of 6th National Linguistic Olympiad of China at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
