Following the success of African and American Culture Weeks, Europe Week took place from December 2nd to 6th, showcasing a range of exciting student-led activities.

What's it like for high school students to attend lectures by Nobel Laureates and have in-depth discussions with them?

We’re excited to announce our very first Wellbeing Conference at UWC Changshu China: Flourishing in International Education: Learning to Be Well & Learning to Do Well. With rising pressures on adolescents’ mental health and the arrival of AI era, this conference provides an inclusive space for educators, school leaders, counselors, private practitioners, and researchers to come together. We’ll dive into effective support strategies for adolescents’ social-emotional wellbeing, explore the essential link between emotional health and life-long success, and discuss the future implication of AI on adolescents’ education and wellbeing.

UWC Day is the annual global celebration of the UWC mission and values, which takes place on 21 September every year, to coincide with the UN International Day of Peace.

At the end of August, UWC Changshu China welcomed nearly 250 new students, bringing the total number of students on campus to 630 from over 90 countries and regions. With these newcomers, we want to share what their experience has been like as they start their journey at UWC CSC.

On June 2nd, the City University of Macau held the ceremony for the Conferment of Honorary Degree and the Congregation 2023/2024. The ceremony conferred honorary doctorates upon Weimin Zheng, Quanshui Zheng, and Mark Jiapeng Wang, in recognition of their outstanding achievements in their respective fields and significant contributions to social development and education.

On Earth Day, there were twenty-three vibrant activities, and students took part in workshops based on their interests, such as tree planting, village and shore cleaning up, hiking and collecting rubbish on Yushan, gardening composting, visiting a tea plantation and learning about the process of making tea.

With the arrival of April, the campus of UWC Changshu China becomes adorned with delicate cherry blossoms. It is a time when students enjoy the beauty of spring while immersing themselves in the enchanting world of books. We all carry within us the imprints of books that have touched our souls during our formative years, subtly shaping our world perspectives and cultural identities.

To promote bird conservation, the Bird Conservation Zhi Xing organized Bird Conservation Week from the 13th to the 20th of January in 2024.
