Future-facing and transformative learning
At UWC Changshu China we believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit and that our students’ interests, passions, dreams, skills and needs shape their learning experience. Our research-informed curriculum and expert faculty invite students to actively participate in their education and experience the full journey of failure, challenges and success.
As an IB World School, UWC Changshu China delivers a high-quality two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme and a one-year Foundation Program.
We support holistic learning experiences, both disciplinary and interdisciplinary, that enable success in the IB Diploma Programme and entry into the world’s leading higher education institutions.
Our learners will take risks, feel comfortable with ambiguity, see mistakes as learning opportunities, and develop creative thinking and reflection skills to address issues of local and global significance.
Our unique, authentic and UWC mission-aligned experiential learning model enables students to learn both in the classroom and beyond.
At UWC Changshu China, we define learning as an iterative process in which we engage and inquire, reflect on the experience considering diverse perspectives, and intentionally apply what we learn to better ourselves, our communities, and the world
