Nowadays, international education in the mainland of China is in the ascendant with a variety of international schools springing up. How to actively introspect in the context of international education and upgrade the teaching and learning of Chinese to a higher level is now a focus of attention.

Under such circumstances, the 5th International School Chinese Language Education Conference and Workshop, jointly organized by Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second/Foreign Language of National Kaohsiung Normal University, Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong, Chinese Language Center, Office of International and Cross-strait Affairs of I-Shou University, International College of Chinese Studies of East China Normal University, and UWC Changshu China will be held from November 30th to December 2nd, 2017 at UWC Changshu China by the lakeside of the beautiful Kuncheng Lake.
