Learning at UWC Changshu China

UWC Changshu China places a strong emphasis on teaching and learning, and our students are the centre of all that we do.

It is our aim is give students the agency to drive their own learning experiences and to provide a challenging and safe environment in which to safely do so. We want to enable our students to become true lifelong learners with endless possibilities to succeed.

Through 2020-2021, the college underwent an extensive reflection and vision building process that focused on how we learn at UWC Changshu China. The purpose was to create an agreed framework and toolkit on learning that is future-oriented and will allow our students to achieve transformational change during their education with us.

In creating a shared vision and allowing this to guide the process, we have produced an extensive model of learning to shape how faculty and students learn together at UWC Changshu China.

Through conducting this process, and in producing our common set of approaches and principles of learning, we believe that UWC Changshu China is leading the way in achieving future-focused, adaptive, and transformational learning.
