Isabel Xu is Vice Principal – Innovation and Strategic Development at UWC Changshu China, joining the College in 2026. In this role, she leads the school's strategic development, digital innovation, and external engagement, ensuring that institutional growth, technology strategy, and partnerships are aligned with the UWC mission and the advancement of education for human flourishing. 

With over two decades of experience as a teacher and school leader across a diverse range of K12 schools—including international, bilingual, and public institutions in both the UK and China—Isabel brings a rich and varied perspective to the College. Throughout her career, she has been deeply passionate about fostering holistic student development, nurturing curiosity, and creating learning environments where every student can thrive. This enduring commitment to education and the transformative power of learning is at the heart of her work at UWC Changshu China.
