Dr. Ciarán Doyle
Ciarán has 13 years of experience working in the education sector. From 2019-2023, Ciarán was Vice Principal and Head of Cocurricular Programs at Misk International Schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where the mission was to develop learning outside the classroom for future leaders.
Prior to that, he worked as Director of Student Sports and Wellbeing at Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates. In the past he has worked at Trinity College Dublin, University of Limerick, and the Technological University of Dublin. Ciarán has taught Physical Education, Global Perspectives, Sports Science and Public Health.
Ciarán completed his doctoral studies in 2018 in the area of physical activity for mental health in students. He has ten publications in peer review scientific journals including Q1. He has presented on the topic of physical activity for wellbeing and experiential learning at conferences around the world.
Ciarán is joined in UWC Changshu China with his wife Mary who works as Residential Mentor on campus.
