Kate Doyle
Kate has extensive experience in international education, having lived and worked in South Africa, Australia, the UK, Eswatini, and the Netherlands. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to fostering academic excellence and supporting student development.
Before she joined UWC Changshu China, Kate served as the Director of Secondary School and Deputy Head of College at UWC Maastricht, where she has played a key role in delivering the International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes trust and teamwork, believing that exceptional schools are built by passionate educators who are supported and empowered.
Kate's previous roles include Deputy Principal (Pastoral) at Waterford Kamhlaba United World College of Southern Africa, where she led wellness programs and pastoral care initiatives. She also served as the Founding Director of Kamoka Bush School in South Africa, focusing on outdoor education and environmental issues.
Kate holds a Higher Diploma in Education from Johannesburg College of Education and has completed leadership courses, including the University of the Witwatersrand Business School Leadership Development Programme. She has been actively involved in the UWC movement for over ten years and has participated in numerous international conferences.
