What did parents say?
Parents also gave feedback to the School and shared how their children felt, and were pleased to see their children had learned more about the UWC values through some special experience at School.
Mother of a DP1 student said:"After my daughter returned to school, she became more efficient in her study, and she was happy to reunite with her classmates and teachers. She was particularly looking forward to playing frisbee with her peers again. She enjoyed the community feeling and liked the campus lifestyle. She helped with the packing of the stuff left in the dormitory for five other students. Although it was tiring, she enjoyed it. It was really a special experience. She also understood UWC's values better, starting from small things to cultivate the spirit of caring and helping others. I am so pleased to see my daughter has grown up a lot."
Packing for others who are not back
A father of a DP1 student said:"My son really enjoyed being back to campus. He enjoyed being together with his classmates again. The campus is safe and there are so many interesting things going on at the School."
We look forward to welcoming more students to return to our lakeside campus and enjoy the rich and dynamic UWC campus life together.
