Zachary Meager

Zachary currently teaches IBDP Literature and Performance and Theatre Arts. He is also an accredited IB examiner in the subject of Literature and Performance. Outside the classroom, in conjunction with other members of the Arts faculty, Zachary produces a variety of multicultural and festival concerts throughout the year. He is passionate about the Arts, and believes that a good Arts education is an essential part of student development and can benefit a student in all areas of their academic and personal growth.

Zachary graduated from UWC-USA in 2008 where he went on to complete an English degree at Clark University graduating in 2012. Before joining UWC Changshu China in 2015, he worked for 3 years integrating theatre as a means of English acquisition for non-native English speakers and teaching ESL and literature in South Korea where his interest and appreciation for East Asian cultures and languages grew.
