Ma Hua

Ma Hua graduated from Shandong University with a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. He taught Mandarin in York County School Division and at the College of William and Mary in Virginia as well at South Island School of English Schools Foundation in Hong Kong. Ma Hua also a taught graduate course of Education Research at the College of William and Mary. He attended IBO workshops of Chinese B, ab initio, and Theory of Knowledge, and is appointed as a Chinese B Examiner by IBO. Ma Hua currently teaches Chinese B. He is also leading a committee to design and implement the course of Chinese Studies, a school-based-subject.

Ma Hua is currently the Dean of Co-curricular and Additional Programmes at UWC Changshu China, overseeing both Pre-DP co-curricular and DP CAS programmes. The aim of the programme is to live out UWC values of cross-cultural understanding, personal challenges, responsibilities and integrity in a Chinese cultural immersion environment.
