Hackability, which started in Turin, Italy in 2015, aims at using technology to help people with disabilities and/or special needs. In the past few years, Hackability’s activities have been extended from Italy to other European countries such as France, and recently to China. In 2019, the event was successfully held at New York University Shanghai. This year, with the support and help from Changshu Disabled People Federation and UWC Changshu China, a 4-session hackability has been launched at the Yushan Academy Centre for Design and Innovation of UWC Changshu China....

At the end of the last semester, students of UWC Changshu China participated in a research project and presented their findings at a one day Conference on campus on "The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic". This Project provided an opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in a real world context.
