  • UWC Changshu China reopens on 6th May ——Guidance on preventive measures against COVID-19

    Approved by the local government, UWC Changshu China reopened on 6th May. In accordance with the guidelines given by the local government in relation to the measures to prevent COVID-19 after the reopening of the campus, taking into consideration the situation of the College, led by the Return to Campus Committee of UWC Changshu China and with the support and cooperation by other departments involved, our College has completed our prevention of COVID-19 plan and has conducted several dry runs to ensure the safety of the community members after the reopen of the College.

  • Overseas UWCs Welcome More Chinese Students to Apply

    UWC China Joint Selection Committee recently received requests from several overseas UWCs to enroll more students from the mainland of China. Additional spaces offered by overseas UWCs are for IBDP. We welcome students who are keen to join the UWC family and have the desire to contribute to world peace and a sustainable future to apply.

    As the situation surrounding the novel coronavirus outbreak continues to evolve and in accordance with the Notice issued on 26th Jan. by Suzhou Disease Control Headquarters for Pneumonia Caused by Novel Coronavirus, UWC Changshu China has decided to be closed for students for an initial period of two weeks after the end of the Chinese New Year.   • UWC DAY|Climate of Change

    On 21st September 2019, 18 UWCs all over the world, celebrated the UWC day wiht the theme of "Climate of Change". UWC's mission is to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. UWC Day is also a day for UWCers to live UWC mission and values. Students and faculty members of UWC Changshu China devoted the day to understand and discuss the environmental, economic and social impact of the climate change in different parts of the world and what we can do to move beyond climate talk to climate action. A series of workshops and activities were designed to encourage people to be innovative in finding solutions to environmental issues and promote a sustainable life style.
